MTOQ PROTOCOLS FOR IMPROMPTU EVENTS

  1. A request to hold an Impromptu Event must be submitted to the Management Committee by  emailing the Secretary (secretarymtoq@hotmail.com)

  2. Email must contain the following details:

    • Where      -   Address or starting point​

    • What        -   Type of event

    • Why         -    The reason for the event

    • Contact   -    Name of the organiser, their phone number and their email address. Upon receipt of such a request, the Secretary must contact remainder of the Committee, who can either accept or deny the request​. The response must  be made within 24 hours.

  3. MTOQ's Secretary circulates the details of Impromptu Events via the email system to all  members. Furthermore the details should be added to the website and social media pages.

  4. Members should carry a printed copy of the email, or have it accessible on their smart phone to prove the legitimacy of the run.

Invitational Runs

MTOQ members attend invitational events with other car clubs, historical societies etc. 

MTOQ endeavours to inform it's members of these. Their aim is to ensure members have plenty of opportunity to enjoy driving their Model T's with good friends and like-minded enthusiasts. 

Please send us details of such runs, so that they can be added to this list.
